The program will cover the alignment and sequencing supportive of a healthy and sustainable inversion
practice, and how to guide others towards more challenging and advanced poses. We will explore
different ways into each asana using both the lens of the WOOM method and a variety of different
approaches introduced by our guest stars.


WOOM Method

  • WOOM Sequencing – Geared specifically toward arm balances and inversions
  • Alignment and inversions – The anatomy of balance
  • Pranayama
  • Exit Strategy – Learning how to fall intelligently
  • Props – How blocks, straps, blankets and the wall can support the inversion practice
  • WOOM Rest – The art of tension and release
  • Assists – Being supportive without intrusion

Sound School

  • Grounding overtone-emitting instruments and holding a safe space
  • Playlist Curation – Creating a musical journey geared toward an inverted peak pose

The training program will hold a strict attendance policy. All sessions must be fully attended. For hours
missed you will need to schedule private sessions with one of the leading guides, with rates ranging
between $150-$250 per session, depending on the amount of time missed.
We will not grant a certification for a participant who missed more than 2 days of training, and time will
need to be made up over the following WOOM training. The certificate of completion can be used to apply
to be a 50-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. If you’ve completed your 200-hour
certification with WOOM, you will be eligible for all advanced training programs.


WOOM Inversion 50-hour Advanced Module includes the required week of sessions below in addition to
required and recommended readings.
